I haven’t always been this affordable, but like with everyone else, The Pandemic and the recession that followed almost put me out of business.  Photography is considered gig work, and not many of us gig workers have been able to survive the last few years. 

I decided to lower my rates because I saw the need.  In every online mom group or photographer group, I see endless requests for affordable photographers.  After researching what other experienced photographers were charging, I knew there was a gap that I had the ability to fill.  I am able to provide Charleston families with QUALITY, professional photography at a price that no other local photographer can.  Filling this gap will hopefully, help me stay in business for many more years.  

I am able to charge less because: 

• I don’t pay rent for a retail space.  My studio is in my Mount Pleasant home, and I rent space at a local  commercial studio when I need to.  
• I don’t have employees.  I am a one woman operation.  I do the administrative work, book keeping,  Marketing, Website design,  Set Design, Photographing, and editing all by myself. 
• I don’t accumulate Business dept. Some photographers go crazy with equipment, gear and props.  All of my business equipment is paid in full at time of purchase.  
• I have an amazing husband who supports me emotionally and financially.  Our Children are grown and have left home.  We now have more financial freedom than we did when we were raising young kids. This allows me to peruse my dreams, and be more competitive with my pricing.
