How far in advance should we book?

Most sessions are reserved 2–6 weeks in advance, but I always do my best to accommodate families who need something sooner.

Where do sessions take place?

I photograph in my Mount Pleasant home studio, on the beach at Isle of Palms, in downtown Charleston, or in your favorite outdoor location. Senior and family sessions are typically outdoors or they can be done in studio; fine-art children's portraits are often done in studio for the painterly look.

What should we wear?

Once you book, you’ll receive my wardrobe guide with color palettes, styling tips, and suggestions for hair and makeup. I’m happy to help you choose outfits that photograph beautifully.

How long does a session last?

Most portrait sessions run 45–75 minutes. Fine-art studio sessions may take a little longer since they’re more detail-focused, while family and senior sessions vary depending on the location. Newborn Sessions are dependent upon each individual newborns needs with most sessions lasting 2 hours or longer due to feeding and comforting breaks.

How many images will we see in our gallery?

Your delivered gallery is curated to include only the strongest expressions, poses, and moments — typically 25–35 finished portraits, depending on your session type.

Do you offer digital files?

Yes. Every print collection includes digital files with print permission. Heirloom albums, wall art, and specialty prints are available as well.

What’s the turnaround time?

Your print & order gallery is typically ready within 1–2 weeks. Final artwork and albums vary depending on production time.

Can you help us choose artwork for our home?

Absolutely — I love helping families decide which portraits belong on their walls. I can guide you toward sizes, groupings, and finishes that fit your home’s style.

Do you photograph newborns?

I offer in-home lifestyle newborn sessions for families who want a natural, relaxed approach that focuses on connection. These can be added to a maternity session or booked on their own. I can also do Studio Newborn sessions in my Mount Pleasant home studio.
