Paying it Forward

The Until Valhalla Program

Have you ever had a pet…or a person in your life that you had such a deep connection to, that when they passed away, it felt like someone had carved your heart out with a spoon?

That’s how I felt when my Golden Retrievers passed away one after the other in the same year, both from cancer.  I had many pets before them, but none of them affected me the way these guys did.  I felt like I had lost a child.

I wasn’t prepared for their death as it was sudden, and they were what I considered to be young. As soon as the vet pushed the euthanasia into the IV, I started thinking of all the things I should have done before that moment.

This is why I donate my time and skill to those who know the Rainbow Bridge is near or to anyone with a loved one in Hospice care.

Why is it called "The until Vallhala program"?

My husband is a fan of all things Vikings.  The history, the lore, their religion.  He is always telling me all his newly learned info.  He explains that Vallhala is basically Heaven to the Norse people.  It’s where the soldiers who died in battle go to rest and live in eternal health and happiness.

I felt this was a fitting tittle to give this form of charity.

How does it work?

I waive all Booking Fees and package requirements.  Clients buy prints ala carte, and I gift 3 free Digital downloads.

I usually find potential recipients in FaceBook mom groups, but I encourage referrals and direct inquiries from families facing this tough part of life.

I welcome all species: Human, Dog, Cat, Bird, Reptile, Horse….you name it!

These are the images you will be so thankful for, and I am honored to be a part of your family’s healing process.
